The cool morning should provide some hope that fall is not  too far away and we can give up the 90s for a while.

With a lower dewpoint, the muggy factor is also fading.

Today will be mostly sunny and 84, with northeast wind at 5-10 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 63.

Patchy fog is possible Thursday, mainly before 8 a.m., and it will be mostly sunny and 85, with a northeast wind at 5-7 mph. Thursday night will be partly cloudy and 66.

Mostly sunny for Friday, with a high of 86 and not much wind. The low will be 66.

There’s now a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m. on Saturday. But it will be partly sunny and 86. The same chance of rain lingers into Saturday night, but most showers will be before 8 p.m. The low will be 67.

Sunday will be partly sunny, too, with a high of 87 and a low of 67.

Monday, mostly sunny and 89, with a low again around 67.

Another 30 percent chance of showers is possible on Tuesday, but it will be partly sunny and around 88 degrees.
