Phones at the Ellis and Long Street central office locations of the Rowan-Salisbury School System have been out of order since Sunday, according to school spokesperson Rita Foil.

“AT&T is working on the issue and hopefully they will have the problem resolved and the service will be back up and running after lunch,” Foil said. 

Most administrators are in the field visiting schools for the first day of classes, she said.
