Rowan weather: Another chance of showers

Yesterday’s rain was a welcome relief, and we have a 40 percent chance of rain today.

Showers and storms are possible throughout the day, with a high of 87. Southwest wind will blow at 5-7 mph. Tonight, the chance of rain goes up to 50 percent, with a low around 70.

Some storms, again, could bring heavy rain and frequent lightning.

Thursday, too, has a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 88. West southwest winds are expected at just 3-5 mph. The chance of rain Thursday night is 40 percent, with a low of 69.

Friday, we hold on to a 20 percent chance of showers, but it will be partly sunny with a high near 86. Winds will shift to the north northeast at 5-7 mph. Friday night still has a slight chance of showers. The low will be 67.

Saturday should be mostly sunny and warm, with a high of 86 and a low of 65.

Sunday, too, will be mostly sunny, with a high of 87 and a low of 67.

Monday brings back just a 30 percent chance of rain, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 89. The low will be 67.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 87 again.
