Rowan weather: More clouds, showers possible

Last night’s brief rain led to a very muggy morning, with 100 percent humidity.

We have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with patchy fog possible this morning. The high will be 86 under mostly cloudy skies.

Tonight, the chance of rain drops to 30 percent, with partly cloudy skies and a low of 65.

A little fog may drift through on Wednesday morning, but it will be sunny and 86, with a breeze from the north at 5-7 mph. The night will be clear with a low of 63.

Thursday will be sunny again, with a high of 84 and more north northwest wind at 3-5 mph.Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low of 63.

Sunny and 86 for Friday, with 64 for a low.

Plan to get out this weekend, with sunny skies Saturday and a high of 87. The low will be 65.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, too, with a high near 88 and a low around 67.

Then we’ll get very close to 90 again — it is August — on Monday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 89.
