Rowan weather: Cloudy for a change

Some people had a little rain last night and it’s been drizzling over some parts of Rowan this morning, with the temperature at 70 degrees.

Today we have a 40 percent chance of scattered showers, with thunderstorms possible this afternoon. It will be cloudy, with a high of 82, a little break from the heat.

Tonight we have just a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. Patchy fog is possible towards morning. The low will be 66.

Saturday will start with a little fog, but become mostly sunny with a high of 86. A north northeast wind will pick up to 5-8 mph. Saturday night will have a low of 67.

We have a 20 percent chance of showers Sunday afternoon, but it will be mostly sunny and 87. The same chance of showers sticks around Sunday night, with a low again of 67.

Monday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, along with patly sunny skies and another high of 87. Same chance of showers Monday night, with a low of 68.

There’s another chance of rain Tuesday, 50 percent, with showers and storms before 9 a.m., lingering through the morning. It will be partly sunny and 87 yet again.

Tuesday night has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 66.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 87, with a low of 64.

Thursday looks mostly sunny again, with a high of 85.
