Reception for Freeze set Aug. 9 at China Grove Roller Mill

Local adventurer David Freeze will be at the China Grove Roller Mill Museum on Sunday, August 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. During the afternoon, he will give a presentation about his latest solo bicycle trip, from Mobile, Alabama to Ontario, Canada.  His journeys have been chronicled in the Salisbury Post, where he submits daily reports about sites he sees and people he meets along the way. The public is invited to hear him speak and welcome him home.

David has written two books chronicling his prior solo bike experiences: “Lord, Ride with Me Today” and ” Prayers, Pedaling and Perseverance: 35 Days Cycling Solo from Maine to Key West.”  His books describing his adventurers will be available for purchase. He is already at work on a third book about the Alabama to Ontario ride.
