Part of Camp Road closed today
Water intake at the N.C. Department of Transportation Rowan County Maintenance Camp is being increased from 2 to 4 inches for brine production at the camp yard in Salisbury; during which time a portion of Camp Road will close.
The work began at 7 a.m. today, and is expected to be completed by 4 p.m.
Motorists will use South Main Street and Grace Church Road to detour around the closure.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
