Summer dates to remember

There are four Sectional Tournament dates in our area to add to your calendars. Most of these tournaments are awarding Silver points.

This is a recent change in procedure from ten years ago and is a very welcome one for those who are pursuing their Life Master level.

Here they are: Aug. 7-9 in Hendersonville, Aug. 14-16 in Fayetteville, Aug. 21-23 in Durham and Sept. 10-13 in Charlotte.

For full information on each of these consult www. ACBL.org. under “tournament calendars and results.”

Our Friday, July 17 Evergreen game was again a happy time. The hands were, as before, played in similar contracts. Winning first, Pat Featherston and Dick Brisbin; second, Marie Pugh and Ruth Bowles; third, Stella Shadroui and BettyBonner Steele; and fourth, Fern Albracht and Toni Iossi. Congratulations!
