Beaver 50th Anniversary

Dr. Larry Dean Beaver and Joyce Elaine Perry Beaver of China Grove celebrated their 50th anniversary June 6, 2015, at a drop-in event given by their children at Main Street Baptist Church in China Grove. More than 200 guests attended and were entertained by NASCAR chaplain and comedian Barry McGee.
The Beavers were married June 5, 1965, at Turrentine Baptist Church in Mocksville by the Rev. Harold Perry, father of the bride. Dr. Beaver retired as the founding pastor of Main Street Baptist Church after 20 years, and since retirement is working as an Intentional Interim Pastor recently finishing an interim for Baptist Temple, Reidsville. Joyce retired as the Day Care Director at Main Street Baptist Church.
Their children are Rev. William Lee Beaver (Lisa), Lisa Michelle Tucker (Tony), Crystal Dawn Funderburke (Mark) and Rev. Michael Dean Beaver (Jennifer). They have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
