Rowan weather: Enjoy the 80s; 90s coming back

Yesterday was a decent summer day — not as hot, not as humid, a breeze. Hope you enjoyed it.

Today we’ll have partly sunny skies and a high of 87, with northeast wind at 5-8 mph. Tonight’s low will be 69.

Friday will be partly sunny, too, with a high of 88 and a low of 70.

After that it’s back into the 90s, with an almost daily chance of showers or storms.

Saturday has a 30 percent chance of showers in the evening, with a high of 92. There’s the same chance of rain Saturday night, with a low of 71.

Same chance of rain for Sunday, again in the early evening, with partly sunny skies and a high of 94. The low, still with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, will be 72.

No rain for Monday, but the heat is on — the high will be 96. The low will be 72.

For Tuesday, we’ll just continue the pattern: 30 percent chance of showers and storms, mostly sunny, 94. The low will be 71, still with the slight chance of rain.

And Wednesday looks pretty much the same, except the high will be 92 under partly sunny skies.
