Power to the Arctic

I am a student at A.L. Brown high school. I have recently heard about the drilling in the Arctic, and I think that it would be a horrible thing to do. I mean, think of all the animals and homes of people that they could ruin.

They should try using solar energy so that no one in the Arctic gets hurt and the Arctic can live in peace. So instead of giving power to the people who are drilling, why not give power to the people who believe in the Arctic. Power to the Arctic.

Praise for the J611 restoration

Congratulations to the Spencer Railyard (N.C. Transportation Museum) folks for the GREAT job they did on the N&W J611! Thank you so much for the work you did on part of Roanoke’s rail history. The return of the 611 was a fabulous treat for everyone along the line from North Carolina to Roanoke. We were on the Blue Ridge Parkway bridge over the NS line, and it was a real rush to see her chugging under the bridge into town! Congrats from us Roanokers to y’all.
