There’s little chance of rain today, but if it does come, it will be between 1 and 5 p.m., then isolated storms after that. It will be cloudy again, with a high near 81.

Tonight, just a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly before 9 p.m. Patchy fog possible in the early morning hours. Low of 61.

Saturday is a big day all over Rowan County, with Pops at the Post Saturday night, Nazareth’s Fun Fest, activities at the N.C. Transportation Museum and more. It has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly after 3 p.m. It should be mostly sunny, though, with a warm high of 85.

Saturday night still has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 63.

Sunday, too, has a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers, mostly in the afternoon. It will be partly sunny again, with a high of 81. The low Sunday will be 63.

Back into the work week, and back into a typical summer weather pattern, though we’re still two weeks away from the first day of summer. Monday will be partly sunny and hot, with a high of 87. Monday night, there’s a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms and a low of 66.

Tuesday, look for a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, partly sunny skies and more heat. The high will be 88. Tuesday night has the same chance of rain, with a low of 65.

For Wednesday, it’s back to the 30 percent chance of rain, and it will be partly sunny again and hot, with a high of 87. Wednesday night looks a lot like Monday night, a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms, with a low of 65.

And guess what we’ll have on Thursday — a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, partly sunny skies and continued heat, with a high of 88.
