Graduation: Rowan County Early College 2015 graduates

The Rowan County Early College High School had its graduation ceremony on May 22 at Carson High School auditorium.

Academic student speakers included Sarah Cook and Josephine Vermillion. Dr. Lynn Moody, superintendent of Rowan-Salisbury Schools, provided the welcome, and Principal David Miller spoke to the graduating class. Junior Marshals for the graduation were Erin Christner, Jennifer Ervin, Julianne Evans, Kendall Grumbles, Emerina Kelly and Lida Vang. Forty-six students graduated.

Appalachian State University — Jennifer Compton, Emily Rowland.

 A&T State University — Jennifer Plakyda.

 Catawba College — Megan Chichester, Michaela Fink, Blanca Hidalgo Hernandez.

 Campbell University — Madison Jones, Anna Wilson.

 East Carolina University — Cassandra Allen, Tyler Carver, Gabrielle D’Amato, Nnamdi Osakwe.

 Impact 360 Institute — Angel Hackworth.

 Liberty University — Josephine Vermillion.

 North Carolina State University — Jessica Graham.

 Pfeiffer University — Victoria Andaya, Angela Elliot, Gabriela Gallardo Roman.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College — Dakota Estes, Mahogane Godfrey, Kayla Phillips, Yupaki Gonzalez Reyes, Joshua Simpson.

University of North Carolina at Asheville — Garrett Hatley.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill — Brandy Kegeris.
