Graduation: Eighty-six to graduate from Gray Stone Day School

Gray Stone Day School will hold its 11th graduation commencement ceremony on Friday, June 12 at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium of Gray Stone Day School, adjacent to Pfeiffer University’s Misenheimer campus. A reception honoring the seniors and their parents will follow.

The commencement speaker for the graduation ceremony will be Ron Garrow, the chief human resources officer of MasterCard.

Garrow is a member of the Gray Stone Day School Board of Directors and serves on the National Board of Directors for Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

This year, Gray Stone will see 86 area graduates complete their high school careers.

It is the 10th year seniors have completed a service project.

Student commencement speakers are seniors Erin Ansbro, Taylor Earnhardt and Theodore Karabet. Boone McAulay, student body president, and David Cowan, student body vice president, will welcome guests. Naomi Ejim, class president, will introduce the guest speaker, and senior Ben Perry will present the class gift. Seniors Abigail Isenhour and Rebekah Robinson will give a musical performance.

Junior marshals are Cassie Bebout, Ilya Wang, Jake Goodnight, Megan Frick, Kyle Mitchell, Shannon Efird, Emily Jones, Sarah Hutton, Catherine Blake-Harris, LeAnn Harward, Cameron Starnes, and John Wallace.
