Rowan weather: Hot, humid again today

A cold front will move through today, but the chance of rain is still just 20 percent. A few isolated thunderstorms could have frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, so be careful.
It’s going to hot again today, with partly sunny skies and a high of 88. Winds will blow from the west southwest at 6-11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight, the front will be through our area and we’ll have a low of 52.
Wednesday will be 10 degrees cooler, around 78, with sunny skies and breezes from the north northwest. Wednesday night’s low will be 52 again.
Thursday will be a bit cooler, with a high of 74 and winds from the east northeast at 3-8 mph. Thursday night’s low will be 55.
For Friday, it’s back to the 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2 p.m., and it will be cloudy, with a high of 77. Friday night’s low will be 62.
Saturday looks a little iffy, with a 40 percent chance of showers. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with a high near 80. Saturday night has a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low of 64.
Sunday, too, is iffy, again with the 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny skies will allow a warm up to 82. Sunday night has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low around 64.
That brings us back to Monday, which also has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms and a high near 81.
