5K run set for Saturday rescheduled for March 7

City of Salisbury

Due to the inclement weather experienced earlier this week, the Fur Fun 5K set for Saturday morning has been pushed back to March 7 at 11 a.m at the Salisbury Civic Center.

The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Dog PAWs Taskforce to put on the event. People can still register to participate at www.salisburync.gov/play or www.sportoften.com. Registration is $20 per person. Dogs on a leash are welcome to participate.

Local pet vendors and rescues will be on site as well as live local music and food. All proceeds raised during the event will go directly toward the construction of Salisbury’s first dog park.

For more information, please contact Parks and Recreation at (704) 216-7529.
