City of Salisbury

The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Dog PAWs Taskforce, will host the Fur Fun 5K Run/Walk for the PAWs Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at the Salisbury Civic Center.

Individuals can register at www.salisburync.gov/PLAY or at www.sportoften.com. Registration is $20 per person. Dogs on a leash are welcome and encouraged to participate, as well.

All proceeds raised during the 5K will go directly toward the construction of Salisbury’s first dog park.

Local pet vendors and rescues will be on hand. There will be food and live local music.
