Shelter hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m . and  Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The shelter will observe the same holiday hours as Rowan County government.

The minimal cost for an adoption at the shelter is $70, which is a down payment towards the spay/neuter fee.
