Roof replacement at courthouse will close road
One block of a road next to the Rowan County Courthouse will be closed while work to replace the roof on the building is underway.
Beginning Today, the 100 block of West Liberty Street will be closed to through traffic while work on the roof is going on. The closure is expected to last until March 13, according to the city of Salisbury.
The 100 block of West Liberty Street runs between North Main and North Church streets — with the courthouse and Sheriff’s Department on one side and the magistrate’s office on the other. Traffic runs both ways on the road.
