Mo-ped rider injured in crash with automobile

Salisbury Police officers investigated a Sunday night collision involving a scooter and a passenger vehicle which occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Jake Alexander Boulevard and Old Concord Road.
The scooter rider, a male, was seriously injured and taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. The driver of the passenger car was not injured. Names and other details were not immediately available.
