Kannapolis police make 26 drug-related arrests; 5 others sought

Over two dozen people have been arrested in connection to drug charges after a months-long investigation, according to a press release from the Kannapolis Police Department.

Officers made 26 arrests Saturday, according to the release. Five people are still being sought and one person is currently in prison.

One of the people police are still looking for is Shaun Michael Roby of the 1500 block of Mount Vernon Road in Woodleaf.

Three of the others being sought all have a Kanapolis address. Their names are Holly Roach Coward, Glen Roy Wiltshire Jr. and Michael Jamal York. The fifth, Kelly Starnes Martinez, has a Concord address.

“This undercover operation was a culmination of a lot of hard work by our investigators who conducted intensive investigations and followed up on numerous citizen tips,” the release said. “The information provided by citizens who ‘saw something and said something’ was invaluable.”

People with information about the individuals still wanted by police can call the Kannapolis Police Department at 704-920-4000. Anonymous tips  can also be submitted to the Cabarrus Area Crimestoppers at 704-932-7463.
