“What to Expect When …” events

These events will include a presentation about specific programs at the school and a classroom visit so that parents may meet the teachers and view the curriculum and instruction materials.

  • “What to Expect in Middle School” will be held today, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. in the media center. Details of the school’s middle school program will be presented, including information about the classical curriculum, offerings for fine arts, Latin and Spanish electives, and the middle school honors and college prep track.
  • “What to Expect in High School” will be held on today, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. in the media center. Details of the school’s high school program will be presented and will include information about the school’s comprehensive list of course offerings, Advanced Placement, honors, dual credit courses and more. Information about the Honors Academy at North Hills Christian School for academically gifted high school students will also be available. Parents and prospective students will hear from teacher and student panels as to the benefits of North Hills Christian School.

Shadow days

Shadow Days provide both parents and students an opportunity to learn more about the school and an option to experience a typical day at North Hills Christian School by following a current NHCS student to classes for part of the morning. Reservations are required to shadow one week prior to the event.

  • Shadow Day for parents and rising students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade will be held March 12, April 8 and May 12, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Parents are welcome to schedule a time to take a campus tour and observe classes at a time that fits their schedule, as well.
