The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Rowan County for light ice accumulations Tuesday evening through late Wednesday morning. Temperatures are supposed to stay in the upper 20s and low 30s.

“A combination of light ice and snow accumulations will result in slippery spots on surfaces and hazardous driving conditions,” the advisory states.
