Jack Frost certainly left his mark this morning.
Starting off at a cold 26 degrees, we should eventually warm up to 59 degrees today, with wind from the southwest blowing in this afternoon. After-Christmas shoppers should be happy as they dash about. It will be cold again tonight, but not as cold, with a low of 33.
Saturday will be nice, too, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 58. A 50 percent chance of rain moves in late Saturday night, with a low of just 46.
Sunday, rain is likely, with a 70 percent chance, cloudy skies and a high near 58 again. The same chance of rain lingers into Sunday night, with another warm low of 47.
Then it’s time to start a new holiday week, and Monday will have a 50 percent chance of rain and a high near 56. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent Monday night, with a low around 38.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 49 and a low around 32.
Wednesday will be sunny again, but cooler, with a high near 46. The low will be 31 degrees. A chilly night to watch the old year pass and 2015 come in.
And for New Year’s Day, it should be sunny with a high near 48.
