A Rockwell woman has been charged with selling prescription medications.

Betty Jolynn Meadows, 28, a resident of the 600 block of Depot Street, was arrested Thursday by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

She is charged with two counts of selling or delivering Adderall and two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver the drug.

Adderall is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy.

On two separate occasions in September and October, an undercover Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigator purchased Adderall from Meadows, according to a news release.

Meadows was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond.
