When clients came into Washko Family Dentistry they were greeted by the easygoing smile of Gail Ralston. She worked at the Spencer dental for more than 30 years. Ralston died unexpectedly in September and has left behind an office family who miss her daily.

The members of the office contributed to the Christmas Happiness Fund in Raltson’s honor.

“I work with a great bunch of ladies. They are committed, dedicated and loyal. She had been with the practice for 38 years and she had been with me for 25 years,” said Ken Washko.

It was a shock to everyone when Ralston died and she “left a wonderful family, both at home and with us,” he said.

Ralston was a receptionist and was the insurance coordinator for the dental practice.

“Everybody would come in, they knew they were in the right place when they saw her,” Washko said.

He said Ralston was a great person.

Nancy Washko, Ken Washko’s wife, said she knows how the dental office misses Ralston.

“It’s like you’re losing a family member. We live to give to the Christmas Happiness Fund and when you can give in someone’s else memory well she would appreciate having that donation in her memory,” Nancy Washko said.

it’s like you’re losing a family member. we likle to give to the CH fund and when you can give in someone else’s memory.

The community makes donations to the Christmas Happiness Fund and earmark their contribution in honor or in memory of someone. The donations are received at the Salisbury Post.
