Rowan weather: Weekend looks nice

Wow, it’s cold — 21 degrees at 8 a.m. With sunny skies, we should warm up to about 50 degrees, and the wind will be just 5-8 mph from the west. Cars were coated with frost this morning, as well as the grass and anything metal.

Tonight will be clear and cold again, with a low around 27.

We’ll be a bit warmer for Friday, with a high near 55 and light winds. Friday night’s low will be around 30 degrees.

Saturday and Sunday promise to be great days for getting all those things done that you didn’t have time for during the week. Saturday’s high will be near 56, with sunny skies.

It’s still quite cold at night with Saturday’s low around 31.

Sunday’s high of 58 will seem almost like a heat wave. We’ll be sunny again. Clear skies Sunday night will lead to alow around 30.

Monday will be about 58 again, with clouds moving in overnight and a low around 36.

A 40 percent chance of showers moves in Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 54. A 30 percent chance of rain is included for Tuesday night, with a low around 37.

We should rebound Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and a high near 53.
