GRANITE QUARRY — Santa Claus will make his annual pre-Christmas visit to Granite Quarry from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Granite Lake Park on North Salisbury Avenue. Santa will be welcoming children at the lake’s gazebo.

If it rains, Santa will move his visit to town hall.

After Santa’s visit is complete Sunday, the town will light 12 Christmas trees around the lake. The trees are sponsored by Granite Quarry businesses, churches and organizations. This is the second year for the lighting of the trees at the lake.

Also related to Christmas, the town of Granite Quarry will hold its annual Christmas banquet for staff and volunteers Friday night.

The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Over the holidays, Granite Quarry Town Hall will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
