Rowan weather: Cold today, nice weekend

For Black Friday shoppers, the morning sure was cold. And we’re still just at 26 degrees.

Today will be sunny and chilly, with a high near 45. West winds will blow at 3-8 mph. Tonight will be cold again, with a low around 29.

The weekend looks good. Saturday will be sunny with a high near 53 and a light south southwest wind at 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night’s low will be around 34.

Sunday will be sunny again, with a high near 63 and more southwest wind at 5-10 mph. The low Sunday night will around 43.

Monday will be even warmer, with a high near 68. A 30 percent chance of rain rolls in Monday night, with a low near 40, and brings in another blast of cold air.

Tuesday’s high will be just 44 degrees, and the low will be around 37.

Then look for a rebound Wednesday, with a high near 57. The low will be 38.

Thursday will be a bit warmer, with a high near 58.
