One word: Yuck.

It’s chilly, it’s pouring and the chance of rain is going up for Thanksgiving Day.

Today’s 100 percent chance of rain may move out in time for the parade, but the temperature won’t go up much — just to 45. Winds will blow from the northwest at 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Tonight there’s a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 a.m. The low will be 35.

For Thanksgiving Day, another 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 50. Winds will blow from the northwest at 5-10 mph. The low will drop to 27.

Friday will be sunny, with a high near 46, and a low of 29. Not a bad day for shopping, if you dare.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 54, and a low near 37.  Another nice day for shopping or tossing a football around.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high near 62. And Sunday night will be warmer, too, with a low around 43.

Monday will be even warmer, with a high near 66 under mostly sunny skies. The low will be around 42.

And Tuesday will be mostly sunny again, with a high near 57.
