Keith and Debbie Messick of Rockwell and Jeff and Janice Nelson of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Messick, to Gregory Scott Summitt, the son of Tommy and Debbie Summitt of Salisbury.
Ashley is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Jean Kluttz of Salisbury and the late Richard and Peggy Messick of Mooresville. A 2000 graduate of North Rowan High School and 2005 graduate of East Carolina University, she is employed by Novant Health Pinnacle Orthopedics.
Gregory is the grandson of Jean and the late Ralph Cauble of Granite Quarry and Celia and the late Barkley Summitt of Salisbury. A 2003 graduate of West Rowan High School, he is employed by the Kannapolis Fire Department.
The couple will marry Nov. 15 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
