David Hillsgrove, an orthopedic surgeon with Northshore Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center, is the guest presenter.
Hillsgrove will provide a question-and-answer opportunity at the conclusion of the program. Lake Norman Regional Orthopedic Nurse Navigator Jaycee Marks will be present and available to answer any questions about The Orthopedic and Spine Center of Lake Norman and pre-op and post-op hospital questions.

The Center for the Environment at Catawba College, in partnership with the University of North Carolina Nutrition Research Institute, will host a community lecture Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m. in room 300 at the center.
Folami Ideraabdullah will discuss new findings that show how environmental chemical exposures may be linked to common human diseases and how current research can lead to prevention or treatment.
