Rowan weather: Rain today, then sun and cool temperatures

Today, despite the beautiful morning, we’re going to see some rain, especially early this evening and into the night, with an 80 percent chance all day.
The high will reach 79 degrees, and we’ll have a south southwest wind of 9-14 mph with gusts up to 23 mph. Rainfall amounts will be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, but thunderstorms may dump more rain.
Tonight, look for showers and storms followed by fog, with a low of 59.
That rain brings in a much cooler weather pattern for the next few days. Saturday’s high, under sunny skies, will be just 67 degrees, with a west northwest wind at 7-10 mph. Break out the blankets and turn on the heat, because Saturday night’s low will be 40 degrees.
Sunday will be sunny with a high of 67 again. Sunday night’s low will be 43.
Monday warms up a little, with a high near 72 and mostly sunny skies. Monday night will be around 51.
For Tuesday, look for partly sunny skies and a high near 73, with a low around 54.
Wednesday, we go up a little bit to 75 degrees, with a low of 53.
And Thursday should be mostly sunny with a high near 76.
