Rowan weather: Weekend looks better

With the rain and clouds the last couple of days, temperatures have been much cooler than expected, but if the forecast holds out today, we’ll reach 69.
It will still be cloudy, and wind will come from the north northwest again. Tonight, we still have a chance of showers with a low around 59.
Friday, look for partly sunny skies with a high near 75 and a breeze of 6-9 mph from the northeast. Friday night’s low will be 59.
Saturday looks more promising, mostly sunny with a high near 77 and more northeast wind at 3-8 mph. Saturday night should be calm with a low around 58.
We’ll have mostly sunny skies again on Sunday, with another high of 77 and the low again of 58.
Monday, back to 30 percent chance of showers, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 75. Monday night, a 40 percent chance of showers and a low around 60.
And here comes a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 74. Tuesday night, it’s back to showers, a 30 percent chance, with a low of 60.
But next Wednesday should be partly sunny with a high near 76.
