Rowan weather: Smooth sailing ahead

Last night’s showers and storms were a bit of a surprise, but the rest of this week and into next week will be a refreshing change.
We still have a 20 percent chance of showers, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of just 71 degrees today. Then we’ll have the same chance for showers tonight and a low of 59.
Hold on to that 20 percent chance of showers for Thursday, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. It should be partly sunny and near 77. Thursday night’s low will be around 58.
Then you can put away your umbrella for Friday through Tuesday, when there’s no mention of rain.
Friday should be partly sunny and 77; Friday night’s low will be 55 — good sleeping weather.
For the weekend, we’ll have two mostly sunny days, with a high near 76 Saturday and a low of 55 and a high Sunday near 77, with a low of 61.
Monday will be partly sunny and 79 degrees, with a low near 58.
