The following offices will be closed for the Labor Day holiday:
• East Spencer town hall will be closed. Garbage pickup will take place Friday.
• Granite Quarry town hall will be closed. The garbage collection schedule is not affected. The Granite Quarry Board of Aldermen will hold its September meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
• Salisbury City offices will be closed. Salisbury city buses will not operate on Monday. Garbage collection in Salisbury is not affected, but limbs and yard debris will not be picked up Monday.
• Landis town hall will be closed. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• Cleveland town hall will be closed. No services will be affected.
• China Grove town Hall will be closed. No services will be affected.
• All Rowan County government offices, with the exception of public safety, will be closed.
• The Rowan County, Rock Grove, Julian Road, Dunn’s Mountain, Providence, Woodleaf and Goodnight Road solid waste sites will be closed. The Recycling Processing Center will also be closed.
• All city of Kannapolis offices will be closed. There will be no disruption in garbage and recycling collection service.
• All Kannapolis parks will be open for regular operating hours from dawn until dusk. In Village Park, the Rotary Express and Splash Pad will be open Saturday, 10 a.m. -7 p.m.; Sunday and Monday from noon to 6 p.m.
• Faith town hall will be closed. There will be no change in services.
• Spencer town hall will be closed. Garbage collection will be delayed by one day. The recycling center will be closed.
