Students will learn about supplies needed at open houses

The following lists of school supplies are from the Rowan-Salisbury Schools website and include items which teachers may request students to bring to school. Assistance will be available for students who need help securing supplies.
Kindergarten — book bag. Optional items: glue sticks, three-ring binder, resealable plastic bags, unscented wet wipes, change of clothing, scissors, tissues.
Grade one — book bag, block eraser, glue sticks, pencils, resealable plastic bags, pencil pouch or box, old sock. Optional: 70-page composition notebook, dry erase markers, tissues.
Grade two — book bag, crayons, notebook paper, pencils, pencil pouch or box, glue, erasers. Optional: scissors, resealable plastic bags, pocket folders, composition notebooks, clipboard, tissues.
Grade three — loose-leaf paper, pencils, tissues.
Grade four — loose-leaf paper, pencils, pencil pouch/box, composition notebooks or three-ring binder, tissues.
Grade five — loose-leaf paper, pencils, pencil pouch or box, composition notebooks or three-ring binder, tissues.
For middle and high school students, the supply lists depend on which team or teacher the child has. Schedules are typically given out at open houses. Additional supply lists may be provided during each open house or when student schedules are distributed.
Here is a general list of supplies: notebook paper, notebook, composition books, pens (black and blue ink), pencils, erasers, highlighters.
