Rowan weather: Weekend looks good

Looks like smooth sailing for the weekend, starting with today, which began with temperatures in the 60s, but will warm up to 85 under mostly sunny skies. Tonight, we dip back into the 60s, for a low of 63.
The air quality will be moderate today and throughout the weekend, with both ozone and particle pollution affecting the air. And the UV index will be very high, so while you’re outdoors, be sure to wear sunscreen.
Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny and quite warm, with a high Saturday near 89 and Sunday near 90. Saturday’s low will be 65, and Sunday’s around 69.
Monday, we have a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon, with a high near 89 and mostly sunny skies. The low, with that same 30 percent chance of rain, will be around 69.
Tuesday is almost an instant replay, with a high near 88, a low of 68, and a 30 percent chance of rain during the day.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 90, with a low around 68, and Thursday will be around 91 under mostly sunny skies.
