Infant found at Kannapolis McDonalds a hoax

Investigators from the Kannapolis Police Department have determined that the initial story of a baby being found at the McDonalds on South Cannon Boulevard in Kannapolis was a hoax.
The baby was reported found at 1:41 p.m.
A 21-year-old female admitted to self-delivering the child sometime earlier in the day at her home in Concord.
The last report from CMC-NorthEast indicates that the child will be OK.
