Richard Allen Terrell Sr. and Janice Shiver Terrell recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 13, 1964, at Riverside Baptist Church in Mayo, Fla., by the Rev. William (Bill) Terrell, brother of the groom. The Terrells celebrated with a trip out West and a family gathering at the OuterBanks.
Richard retired after 38 years with the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Janice retired from First Bank of Salisbury.
The couple’s children are Dr. Sheila Terrell Nance (Rob) of Mooresville and Allen Terrell (Jenny) of Murrells Inlet, S.C. Their grandchildren are Wyatt, Harrison, Ethan and Parker.
