Rowan weather: Stuck in a rut

We’ve picked up a chance of rain for every day this week, with the highest chances on Thursday and Sunday.
For today, it’s just a 20 percent chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. It will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 89. The likelihood of rain picks up tonight to 40 percent, with a low of 67. Less than a 10th of an inch is expected, except in thunderstorms.
A fast moving line of thunderstorms will move in tonight and the early morning hours of Thursday, creating a greater threat of strong to severe storms with damaging winds and frequent lightning.
Partly sunny skies on Thursday will drive the temperature up to 88, creating an unstable atmosphere. Storms could be severe, with winds and hail the main threat. The chance of showers and storms is 50 percent, with about a quarter inch expected. Thursday night’s chance of rain is just 20 percent, with a low around 63.
Friday has a 20 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 83. The 20 percent chance of showers and storms continues Friday night, with a low around 62.
The weekend will be mixed, with warm temperatures and a continued chance of rain. Saturday, the temperature will climb to 86, and there’s a 30 percent chance of rain. No rain Saturday night, with a low around 65.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain and a high near 86 Sunday night’s chance of showers is 30 percent, with a low around 67.
Monday and Tuesday, it’s more of the same, with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms Monday, partly sunny skies and a high of 88. There’s a 30 percent chance of showers and storms Monday night with a low around 66.
And in case you haven’t figured out the pattern, Tuesday has a 30 percent chance of rain under partly sunny skies and a high of 85.
