VA seeking artwork to raise awareness of PTSD
SALISBURY – The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center invites survivors of trauma including combat, sexual assault, violence, natural disasters, accidents, and other events to help raise awareness of PTSD by displaying the art related to their personal struggles with PTSD.
Art submitted will be featured during an event June 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street in Building 42.
This includes photographs, paintings, drawings, sculpture, poetry, music or other unique artistic expressions that have helped in the recovery process. Please note that veterans will receive space preference, but anyone is invited to submit their work and attend the event.
