The Social Services Commission (SSC) will make appointments to the county Boards of Social Services to fill seats of the SSC appointees whose terms expire on June 30. Nominations will be accepted now through May 30. The term of the new appointment is July 1, 2014–June 30, 2017. Nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. on May 30.

Completed applications may be returned to the Rowan County Department of Social Services, Attention: Kelley Williams, 1813 E. Innes St., Salisbury, NC 28146. Applications sent to the local department must be received by Wednesday, May 28.
