Rowan weather: Let the sunshine in

Guess what?
There are no watches, warnings or hazardous weather outlooks today. After days of being under alerts and seeing little of the bad weather that plagued the Gulf Coast and the eastern portion of North Carolina, we should have several good weather days ahead.
Today has started out warm and dry, though there’s a 20 percent chance of rain this morning. Expect temperatures to rise to near 76 degrees, with southwest winds at 6-13 mph and gusts up to 23 mph. Tonight’s low will be around 48.
We can expect partly sunny skies Friday with a high near 69 and a low around 48.
The weekend looks very good.
Saturday’s high of 72 under sunny skies should make it a perfect day for outdoor activities, such as the Earth Day Jam. Saturday’s low will be around 50.
Sunday will be great, too, with high near 78 and a low around 53.
Even Monday looks good, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 77. Lows Monday should be around 53.
Tuesday and Wednesday will continue the trend of sunny skies and warm temperatures. The high Tuesday should be near 79, and the high Wednesday around 83.
