Salisbury softball pitcher Caroline Forbis is the Post’s Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore is the sister of former Salisbury baseball standout Jeremy Forbis and was all-county and all-conference as a freshman.
Caroline has been playing with a broken foot but had a great week as she led the Hornets to two wins in three Central Carolina Conference outings.
She struck out 10 while pitching a no-hitter against Thomasville and struck out eight in a one-hitter against Lexington.
She struck out 11 in a loss to West Davidson.
Forbis also had a big week at the plate with seven hits .
