Tired of warnings about snow and ice?
Well, we have a new and more common warning for spring today. Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday, with damaging winds, hail the size of a quarter or larger and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Tornado development is possible.
For today, expect showers and a high near 63. Chance of rain is 90 percent. Tonight will include more showers and possible fog, with a low of 55.
Saturday comes with showers and thunderstorms and a high near 70. Chance of rain is 80 percent. The rain and storms continue into Saturday night, with a low of 43. Accumulations of rain will be heavier in thunderstorms, but we can expect amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch.
Sunday should be sunny with a high near 60 and winds from the north northwest gusting as high as 24 mph. Sunday night will be clear and colder, with a low of 37.
Monday should be sunny, with a nigh near 69. Tuesday should be the same with a high of 73, and Wednesday up to 74. Lows will be in the 40s.
