SALISBURY — The Chestnut Hill Neighborhood Association will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Haven Lutheran Church.
People with an interest in the neighborhood are being invited to attend. The Chestnut Hill area extends roughly from Thomas Street south to include the Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In width, it goes from South Main to Fulton streets.
Some of the goals of the neighborhood association are to revitalize the neighborhood; promote its safety, cleanliness and attractiveness; save historic houses; gain official recognition of Chestnut Hill as a historic area; work with other organizations; promote single-family use of houses; and bring together residents.
