An early morning accident is forcing the NCDOT to shut down all eastbound lanes of I-40 in Davie County at mile marker 180. The lanes are expected to be closed until 8:30 am.
Motorists can detour by taking exit 170 to U.S. 601S to U.S. 158 N to 801N back to I-40.
