Lunchtime ‘Music and Meditation’ series returns March 17 at St. John’s
During the Lenten season, St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 W. Innes St., will host a series of free lunchtime concerts, “Music and Meditation,” from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Mondays, March 17, 24 and 31.
The services take place in the chapel and are led by the Rev. Rhodes Woolly, senior pastor, and Danielle Kosanovich, diaconal minister for youth and outreach. Musicians include:
March 17: Matthew Brown, keyboard. Brown is director of music and organist at First United Methodist Church
March 24: Rosemary Kinard, flute, and Rob Durocher, piano. Kinard is associate parish musician, and Durocher is minister of music.
March 31: Michelle Trivette, saxophone. Trivette is a music specialist for Rowan-Salisbury Schools, and teaches at Bostian and Enochville elementary schools. She is a frequent instrumentalist during St. John’s worship services.
