“Celebrating Rowan County’s Young Artists” Elementary School Exhibition opened Wednesday, March 5 and runs through Saturday, March 29. Throughout the year, arts educators expose their students to a variety of art mediums. Each teacher has selected a number of pieces that are representative of the work of their school’s art program.

The exhibition, now in its 31st year, provides children with the experience of exhibiting their work in an art museum for public view.

A reception to honor the student artists, their families, and school administrators will be held on Thursday, March 13 from 5-6:30 p.m.
